Brandon Powell hauled in 2 of 3 targets for 15 yards and a touchdown in Sunday’s 31-28 win over the Falcons.
Fantasy Impact: Powell did not have a huge game overall Sunday afternoon, but he did make the biggest play of the game. The 28-year-old receiver caught the game-winning touchdown pass from QB Joshua Dobbs with 22 ticks left on the clock in the final quarter. For Powell, the TD grab was his first since November of 2020, when he, interestingly enough, was suiting up for the Falcons. Powell has stepped up and made some plays for the Vikings since No. 1 receiver Justin Jefferson went down with an injury back in Week 5, but he simply isn’t seeing enough volume to rely on for fantasy purposes in the vast majority of leagues.
