Breece Hall rushed for one yard on four carries and was not targeted in the passing game in New York’s 24-16 preseason win against the Falcons on Monday.
Fantasy Impact: Hall was considered by many to be a first-round talent but the Jets got him as a steal on the second day of the draft with the 36th overall pick this past April. Hall put up great numbers in college, rushing for 3,941 yards and 50 touchdowns while adding another 734 yards and six touchdowns on 82 receptions during his three years at Iowa State. Despite a somewhat pedestrian showing in two preseason games, the Kansas-native has been a standout during the Jets’ training camp and has shown a lot of what head coach Robert Saleh likes to call “juice.” Hall figures to start the season as the lead back in the Jets backfield. He will split carries with Michael Carter and LaMichael Perine but has the explosiveness to take over the bell cow mantle and become the feature back for the Jets in time.
