Brian Hoyer inks one-year deal with the Patriots

The Patriots are re-signing veteran QB Brian Hoyer to a one-year deal.

Fantasy Impact: Hoyer will return to New England on a one-year deal. The Patriots now have Cam Newton, Mac Jones, Jarrett Stidham, and Hoyer on the QB depth chart. The 35-year-old started one game for the Patriots in 2020, completing 15-of-24 passes for 130 passing yards and one interception. Hoyer served as Patriots third-string quarterback in 2020 and will compete with Stidham for the third-string spot.
