According to Mike Garafolo of NFL Network, San Francisco 49ers QB Brock Purdy underwent successful surgery on his elbow and is expected to have a three-month timetable to resume throwing.
Fantasy Impact: Purdy needed surgery to repair his UCL, an injury he suffered during the NFL Playoffs. With the given timetable, he is set to return to throwing in mid-June. The expectation has been that Purdy will be available to return for the 49ers in time for the 2023 offseason, but if any complications arise, the 49ers still have QB Trey Lance in the wing fighting for the same job.
