According to Ari Meirov of The 33rd Team, Carolina Panthers head coach Frank Reich confirmed that top-pick rookie QB Bryce Young is the team’s “QB1.”
Fantasy Impact: This was fully expected to be the truth eventually, but it was uncertain if Young would start Week 1 or if Andy Dalton would see the field first. Young will get the chance to develop on the field early in his career as the Panthers enter a new phase for the franchise. Dalton will play the backup QB role. Young’s average draft position is QB19.
