The Kansas City Chiefs are “extremely high” on WR Byron Pringle, per GM Brett Veach.
Fantasy Impact: The Chiefs used a restricted free agent tender on Pringle during the offseason. He hauled in 13 receptions for 160 yards and one touchdown across 13 games in 2020. Chiefs’ GM Brett Veach reportedly is very high on the 27-year-old wide receiver. “We’re extremely high on Byron Pringle,” said Veach. WR Sammy Watkins signed with the Ravens this offseason opening up a larger role in Kansas City’s offense. Pringle will compete with Demarcus Robinson and Mecole Hardman for Watkins’ former slot role in 2021. Based on Veach’s recent comments, Pringle could be the odds on favorite to win the Chiefs WR2 role alongside star-wideout Tyreek Hill. Pringle is currently 159th among all wideouts in the latest expert consensus rankings.
