C.J. Gardner-Johnson (pectoral) ruled out for Week 17

Detroit Lions DB C.J. Gardner-Johnson has been ruled out for Week 17’s contest with the Dallas Cowboys on Saturday.

Fantasy Impact: Despite being limited in practice all week, Gardner-Johnson is still not ready to make his return to the field. His pectoral injury has kept him out since Week 12, and considering he signed a one-year prove-it type of deal this offseason, his return is important to him for showing teams he deserves a long-term contract. With the Lions securing a playoff berth, Gardner-Johnson has at least two more chances to return to action.
