C.J. Stroud fails to throw a touchdown in loss

C.J. Stroud completed 16-of-24 passes for 140 yards without a touchdown in the Texans’ 15-13 loss to the Panthers on Sunday. He added a rushing score and 13 yards on two attempts on the ground.

Fantasy Impact: The good news is Stroud remained accurate. The bad news is he failed to really do much through the air against Carolina, who are the only team to hold Stroud to fewer than 199 passing yards this year. A rushing score saved his day but the drop in passing numbers hurts fantasy manager’s confidence to stream the young quarterback in future matchups. He gets a decent matchup against Tampa Bay next week.
