According to Tom Pelissero of NFL Network, the New York Jets have placed TE C.J. Uzomah on the physically unable to perform list at the start of training camp.
Fantasy Impact: Uzomah appeared in 15 games for the Jets in 2022, his first season with the organization. He played on 53% of the team’s snaps, totaling 232 yards on the year. Teammate Tyler Conklin saw more snaps and targets at the TE position, but the Jets still used both TEs in their offense. Conklin’s injury should be monitored to make sure he’s lifted before the regular season begins.
