Cameron Heyward undergoing surgery, could miss eight weeks

According to Gerry Dulac of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, star DT Cameron Heyward (groin) will undergo surgery and could miss up to eight weeks of action.

Fantasy Impact: Heyward is a vital piece to what makes the Steelers’ defense work, protecting the middle of the field against both the run and pass. Now, the Steelers will have to prepare to play roughly half the season without him. Larry Ogunjobi and Montravius Adams led the team in snaps at DT in Week 1, but rookie Keeanu Benton could factor in more with Heyward’s impending absence.
