According to Nick Shook of nfl.com, New Orleans Saints DE Cameron Jordan says his goal is to take new QB Derek Carr back to Las Vegas on a Super Bowl run in 2023.
Fantasy Impact: The Saints are coming off a 7-10 season where they fell short of the postseason in large part to health and quarterback play. This last offseason, the Saints made a move to acquire Carr. Jordan says that his goal isn’t to win 10 games but to win every game. New Orleans has been a roughly .500 team since Brees retired, under whom they won 10-plus games nine times. Carr reached that mark twice with the Raiders, most recently in 2021, and the Saints’ sights are set high with him under center.
