Following the acquisition of Sam Darnold, Ian Rapoport reports that the Panthers will look to either move Teddy Bridgewater or look at options to adjust his contract.
Fantasy Impact: Bridgewater signed a three-year, $63M contract with $33M guaranteed last offseason with Carolina. The Panthers are looking at a $22.9 million cap hit this upcoming year with Bridgewater’s current contract. The Panthers still have P.J. Walker on the roster, who appeared in four games last year, as a backup option if they look to move Bridgewater. Will Grier is on the roster as well.
