Carson Wentz has been named the Commanders’ starting quarterback for Week 17’s game against the Cleveland Browns.
Fantasy Impact: HC Ron Rivera said that he was going to make a decision about who the team’s starting quarterback will be moving forward, and he has officially decided that it will be Wentz. They traded for him this offseason, so it’s not surprising to see them trying to get some value from him. Washington’s pass catchers started out the season hot with Wentz at the helm, so there’s a chance that he helps elevate this offense for fantasy purposes for the remainder of the season.
