The Cowboys want to re-sign Cedrick Wilson Jr., but they intend to let the wide receiver explore his options in free agency first, according to Calvin Watkins of the Dallas Morning News.
Fantasy Impact: Wilson had his best season in 2021, catching 45 passes for 602 yards and six touchdowns. He also accrued 11 rushing yards and 88 passing yards. Although he was listed fourth on the wide receiver depth chart when the unit was healthy, he showed off his big-play ability quite often. Now, with Dallas moving on from Amari Cooper, Wilson has the opportunity to re-sign with the Cowboys and become their No. 3 receiver. First, though, he’ll see what type of interest he can generate in the open market. Regardless of where he signs, his upside puts him around the WR6 tier heading into 2022 fantasy drafts.
