Chase Edmonds was called out by offensive coordinator Dave Canales as a running back who offers value on passing downs. “Chase can do some of the pass game stuff where I feel like Sneak [Ke’Shawn Vaughn] and Sean [Tucker] have a lot of value on first and second down as runners, but so does Chase,” said Canales.
Fantasy Impact: Canales’ comments imply that, behind starter Rachaad White, Vaugh and Tucker could rotate in on early downs while Edmonds has the potential to do a little bit of everything. This would be promising for Edmonds’ fantasy value if White were to miss time, but for now, it’s hard to imagine that he will earn enough touches to get on the fantasy radar.
