Chris Jones agrees to new contract with Kansas City Chiefs

According to Adam Schefter of ESPN, star DT Chris Jones has agreed to a new contract agreement with the Kansas City Chiefs after missing Week 1’s loss.

Fantasy Impact: Jones’ holdout ends, but he signs just a one-year deal according to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network. The extension should keep him under contract through 2024, but it only delays his eventual big payday. For now, though, he should return to the team to help bolster the defense as they look toward another potential Super Bowl run.
