Chris Streveler is expected to be released by the New York Jets on Tuesday.

Fantasy Impact: Streveler has struggled to stay on an NFL roster consistently throughout his young career, and he will once again find himself on the open market. He had a good preseason for the Jets, leading them to an unbeaten record, and that may help him to get an opportunity with a new team. There was never much opportunity for him to surpass Joe Flacco or Mike White on the depth chart for the backup job, but he may have done enough to earn himself another chance in the NFL.
