Christian McCaffrey did not see the field in Friday’s 20-10 preseason loss to the Patriots.
Fantasy Impact: This makes sense, considering Carolina is even being cautious with McCaffrey in training camp practices right now. Given the running back’s injury history and the fact that the Panthers have mostly trotted out backups in the preseason, we may see very little if any at all of CMC before Week 1 of the regular season. Obviously, the 26-year-old has his starting spot locked down and is in for another monster year from a production standpoint as long as he stays on the field.
