Christian McCaffrey rushed 17 times for 66 yards and hauled in 8-of-10 targets for 80 yards and one touchdown in San Francisco’s Week 13 win versus Miami.
Fantasy Impact: McCaffrey was predictably more significantly involved this week with Elijah Mitchell sidelined, as he comfortably led the team in carries and finished first in targets, receptions, and receiving yards. Rookie Jordan Mason efficiently ran for 51 yards, but was not involved in the passing game. The main story of the day was the loss of Jimmy Garoppolo to a broken foot injury, which will rule him out for the rest of the season. Despite rookie Brock Purdy producing a serviceable performance, fantasy managers can expect McCaffrey to shoulder a heavier workload in the final few weeks of the season. He’ll serve as an elite RB1 versus Tampa Bay for Week 14.
