Christian McCaffrey rushed 15 times for 102 yards while also catching four passes for 26 yards in Carolina’s 19-16 loss to the Giants in Week 2.
Fantasy Impact: McCaffrey’s production in the ground game is very encouraging after he put up a dud performance in Week 1. His opportunity count was slightly up as well in the second game of the year, tallying 19 touches compared to the 14 he got last week. The 26-year-old hasn’t produced up to his draft capital yet this season, but he should continue to get plenty of looks as he builds chemistry with Baker Mayfield. Continue to fire him up as an RB1, despite some disappointment through two weeks.
