Pittsburgh Steelers tight end Connor Heyward has made a name for himself during minicamp while establishing early chemistry with quarterback Kenny Pickett.
Fantasy Impact: Connor Heyward is the brother of longtime Steelers defensive end Cameron Heyward. The younger Heyward was selected in the sixth round of the 2022 draft and could compete for the No. 2 tight end role if Eric Ebron becomes a cap casualty. The 23-year-old Michigan State product reportedly made a “nice snag during a two-minute drill in minicamp.” ESPN’s Brooke Pryor notes that Heyward has primarily worked with the pass-catchers, shutting down speculation that he could win the fullback job over Derek Watt.
