Corey Davis caught his only target for nine yards in the Jets’ 31-27 win against the Giants in Sunday’s preseason finale.
Fantasy Impact: Davis faces a lot more competition in the receiver room than was there when he arrived as a free agent last offseason. The emergence of Elijah Moore and Braxton Berrios, along with the addition of arguably the top receiver in the draft, means Davis will have to work harder to earn his keep. He only caught one ball on Sunday but the reps with Joe Flacco we’re important for Week 1 chemistry. Davis is worth a mid-to-late round pick but he is unlikely to be the receiver that separated themselves from the pack in New York and will likely be more valuable to the Jets than fantasy managers.
