Per Nicki Jhabvala of the Washington Post, new Washington WR Curtis Samuel was absent from team practice again as he continues to deal with a groin injury.
Fantasy Impact: Samuel being absent again from practice with the same groin injury that has been lingering for a few days now is a bit concerning. While there is no official word on his status for Sunday’s game vs the Chargers this is a situation to keep an eye on. Given the tough matchup and that Samuel might not be at 100% it wouldn’t be a shock for him to be on a snap count. This would make him a fade for Week 1 fantasy football purposes, but open up more opportunities for the other pass catchers on Washington like Terry McLaurin, Adam Humphries, Dyami Brown, Logan Thomas, and J.D. McKissic.
