Curtis Samuel was targeted eight times, catching five of them for 53 yards and he also gained 26 yards on five carries in the Commanders’ win over the Packers.
Fantasy Impact: Samuel was back to being used as a swiss-army knife, as the Commanders used him as both a receiver and a running back. That level of usage mixed with Samuel’s talent is why he has been a strong flex play most weeks. Samuel has not found the end zone recently, but when he does get back into pay dirt he could be a smash play with his safe floor usage. Samuel is a solid flex play for managers in Week 8 when the Commanders travel to Indianapolis to take on the Colts.
