Jaguars’ WR D.J. Chark underwent surgery for a hairline fracture of his finger, but Jacksonville HC Urban Meyer expects him to play in Week 1 vs Houston.
Fantasy Impact: No one ever likes to hear the words fracture or surgery, but the good news is he isn’t expected to miss any game time. This training camp there have been reports be seems more confident in himself, after spending the offseason transforming his body. Catching passes from the No. 1 overall selection, Trevor Lawrence, is another reason to be confident. While he could lose some ground to Marvin Jones and Laviska Shenault as far as chemistry with the new franchise quarterback, it’s nothing to significantly worry about. He’s currently being drafted as the WR79, which is a great value in the seventh or eighth round. If anything changes with his availability to start the season we will update you. Stay tuned.
