Dalvin Cook rushed nine times for 13 yards and caught all three of his targets for zero yards in Sunday night’s blowout loss to the Packers.
Fantasy Impact: Unfortunately for fantasy owners, Cook posted his worst stat line of the entire season in championship week. It certainly didn’t help that Kirk Cousins was unavailable due to testing positive for COVID-19, and that the Packers built a massive lead in the second quarter. Cook was held to just two carries in the second half as the Packers essentially forced the Vikings to keep throwing the ball. It was disappointing to see him minimally involved in the passing game, as he was expected to serve as a strong checkdown target for backup QB Sean Mannion. As long as the Vikings play their starters next week despite being eliminated from playoff contention, Cook should bounce back against Chicago.
