According to Jeff Darlington of ESPN, free agent RB Dalvin Cook is expected to come to a decision closer to training camp, and there is “nothing urgent” leading him to make an early decision.
Fantasy Impact: Rumors seem to be indicating a race between AFC East foes for Cook, as the Miami Dolphins and New York Jets seem the most primed to acquire the four-time Pro Bowl RB. Either location would likely result in Cook supplanting some talented RBs to take a potential lead role, but for fantasy purposes, Miami seems to be the most seamless location. With a mixture of uncertainty and age, Cook can currently be drafted on average as the half-PPR RB22, according to FantasyPros.
