Dameon Pierce’s Struggles To Find Traction In Week 2

Dameon Pierce had a tough outing in Week 2 against the Indianapolis Colts.

Fantasy Impact: Despite getting 15 carries, Pierce was only able to muster a meager 31 rushing yards, averaging just over 2 yards per carry. His involvement in the passing game was minimal, with only 2 receptions for 4 yards. The Texans’ loss to the Colts, 31-20, didn’t help matters, as the game script forced Houston to abandon the run. Looking ahead to Week 3, Pierce and the Texans will face the Jacksonville Jaguars. Fantasy managers will be hoping for a bounce-back performance, but with the Texans missing multiple starting linemen and his limited role in the passing game, Pierce could be up for another dud in Week 3.
