Daniel Bellinger has officially passed his physical and has been activated off the Physically Unable to Perform list on Wednesday morning as reported by Dan Salomone of Giants.com.
Fantasy Impact: The Giants invested a fourth-round pick in Bellinger as part of their complete offseason overhaul at the tight end position. Now that he is activated, Bellinger should slot into the starting role, and take the same first-team reps as he did in minicamp, as part of a potential three-headed tight end monster in New York of Bellinger, Ricky Seals-Jones, and Jordan Akins. If Bellinger builds on his strong first impression from minicamp and continues to develop chemistry with Daniel Jones, the sky is the limit for the rookie. The 21-year-old remains a sleeper candidate at the perennially shallow tight end position after catching 31 balls for 357 yards and two touchdowns last season at San Diego State. Keep an eye on the rookie as the Giants head into the preseason and beyond.
