According to NFL Network’s Mike Garafolo, veteran free agent safety Darian Thompson visited with the Indianapolis Colts on Thursday.
Fantasy Impact: Thompson, who was a 3rd round pick in 2016 out of Boise State, played his last four seasons with the Dallas Cowboys. Throughout his NFL career Thompson has been a depth player who has been unable to grab ahold of a starting safety position. Thompson spent most of last season on Dallas’ practice squad, but he made appearances in five games and only recorded 3 total tackles on the season. If Thompson were to sign, he would compete with Khari Willis, Julian Blackmon, and newly signed Rodney McLeod for playing time in Indianapolis in 2022.
