Add another name to the list of trade candidates who could be dealt before rosters trim down to 53 on Tuesday. Adam Schefter of ESPN.com reports that the Giants are fielding calls on wide receiver Darius Slayton.
Fantasy Impact: Slayton has shown promise in the past, including an impressive rookie year in 2019 in which he caught 48 passes for 740 yards and eight touchdowns. He finished as the WR37 that year. However, his production has declined over the past couple of seasons and he doesn’t have a clear path to meaningful snaps with Kenny Golladay, Kadarius Toney, and Wan’Dale Robinson on the roster. A trade would almost certainly boost Slayton’s playing time, though it still might not be enough to warrant drafting him in redraft leagues.
