Darnell Mooney had tightrope surgery on left ankle

Darnell Mooney underwent tightrope surgery and had screws put in his ankle after suffering the injury last November.

Fantasy Impact: Mooney has been cleared to begin practicing in camp, but will reportedly be monitored to ensure they are not overworking him and his surgically repaired ankle. The 25-year-old will have to work for his target share this season with the addition of D.J. Moore and Chase Claypool being present for his first full season with the Bears.
