Darwin Thompson signs with Raiders

After signing Damien Williams on Friday, the Raiders have signed another former Chiefs RB, Darwin Thompson, to a deal, according to Adam Schefter.

Fantasy Impact: Thompson is the latest acquisition of a team who has a known RB issue, with 2022’s leading rusher Josh Jacob’s situation not yet resolved. With the uncertainty surrounding whether or not Jacobs will suit up to begin the season, the Raiders have brought in Thomson who has not registered a regular-season snap since 2020. It is unlikely Thompson finds himself with regular-season playing time in 2023, as Jacobs may still play and the Raiders have Zamir White in line to start if he does not. Thompson does not belong on fantasy rosters at this time.
