Per Tom Silverstein, the Packers and all-pro wideout Davante Adams have yet to begin contract talks this offseason.
Fantasy Impact: Adams and Aaron Rodgers are both undecided on their futures, and have reportedly not been in contact with management regarding contract negotiation. Green Bay is expected to franchise tag Adams, if the two sides can not agree on a deal before March 8th. If Aaron Rodgers does not return to the Packers, however, this situation becomes considerably less predictable. According to Spotrac, the franchise tag for Adams would be valued at $20.12 million, which may not be a contract that is viable for Green Bay without Aaron Rodgers. If he does get the franchise tag, he may hold out for a new contract, given how these situations have played out in past scenarios. Adams will have immense fantasy value wherever he plays next season, however his ceiling is considerably higher with Aaron Rodgers, given their elite connection .
