David Montgomery will play in Week 5 after missing Week 4 with an ankle injury, per Jordan Schultz.
Fantasy Impact: Montgomery had been nursing an ankle injury that he suffered early in Week 3 but is slated to return to the Bears lineup against the Vikings on Sunday. The 25-year-old back had a strong Week 2 performance, and since his injury, Khalil Herbert has performed admirably in relief of Montgomery. With Herbert’s strong outings as of late, and Montgomery just getting back from his injury, there is a chance it could be more of a timeshare on Sunday. Still, Montgomery should be the lead-back against a suspect Minnesota rushing defense. Consider the fourth-year back a risky flex play in Week 5.
