David Montgomery (foot) upgrades to full participation

Detroit Lions RB David Montgomery progressed to full participation in practice on Thursday as he works through a foot injury leading into Week 13.

Fantasy Impact: Montgomery has been beaten up this season as the Lions continue to use him as their between-the-tackles, short-yardage back. He seems set to play in Week 13 with his return to full practice, but since the emergence of Jahmyr Gibbs and Montgomery’s return from injury, he hasn’t seen more than 15 carries in a game. He still holds weekly fantasy value, though, as an any-game TD threat on a potent offense.
