David Montgomery had 17 carries for 26 yards in Week 1. He added three catches on four targets for 24 yards through the air in the win over the 49ers.
Fantasy Impact: The rainy weather and tough opposition didn’t do Montgomery any favors as he averaged just 1.5 yards per carry. He had 17 carries to nine for Herbert but Herbert was more effective with 45 yards on the ground. It looks like a timeshare in the backfield for the Bears heading into their Week 2 matchup against the Packers.
