David Montgomery had 15 carries for 67 yards in the 12-7 loss to the Commanders on Thursday night. He caught his only target for 13 yards.
Fantasy Impact: Montgomery had more than twice as many carries as backup Khalil Herbert but was outgained 75 to 67. The volume is good for Montgomery on the run-first Bears’ offense but the lack of touchdown opportunities caps his upside. The Bears will travel to New England for another primetime matchup (sigh) on Monday night in Week 7.
