David Montgomery had 15 carries for 122 yards on the ground against the Packers. He added two catches for 14 yards on two targets in the 27-10 loss.
Fantasy Impact: Montgomery was slicing through and running over Packers defenders on Sunday night. After struggling in the rain-soaked field in Week 1 for just 1.5 yards per carry, Montgomery was the Bears’ offense in Week 2 while averaging 8.1 yards per tote. As such the Bears rode the hot hand giving Montgomery 15 carries to just four for Khalil Herbert. There should be plenty of running opportunities for Montgomery in Week 3 at home against the Texans.
