Cleveland Browns TE David Njoku has officially received his fifth-year option tender for $6.013 million as of Wednesday at 4 pm EST.
Fantasy Impact: Njoku will receive just over $6 million via a fifth-year option tender, meaning the Browns will pay him but can still opt to trade the former 2017 first-round pick. Njoku caught just 19 receptions for 213 yards and two touchdowns across 13 games for Cleveland in 2020. The big-bodied tight end is likely to remain with the Browns in 2021 and will look to make more of an impact within the offense.
