Dawson Knox did not appear for the Bills as they rested a majority of their starters in their postseason finale.
Fantasy Impact: Knox had a breakout season last year, but it was mainly thanks to an incredible pace of touchdowns scoring. Undoubtedly, fantasy managers should be wary of Knox replicating such a torrid pace of scoring especially with the addition of O.J. Howard to the TE room in Buffalo. The Bills ran 11 personal (1 RB, 1 TE, 3 WR) on 71% of their snaps last season, a rate that was 10% above league average. If Howard eats into a chunk of Knox’s snaps in that set it is hard to imagine him replicating his success last year. Nonetheless, Knox is still the TE1 in a very high-powered offense, and he has proven he can sustain a rapport with Josh Allen. Consider drafting Knox as a low-end TE1 this upcoming season.
