Per Josh Weinfuss of ESPN, WR DeAndre Hopkins (ribs) was absent from Thursday’s open practice portion for the Cardinals.
Fantasy Impact: Hopkins unexpectedly popped up on the Arizona injury report this week with a rib issue and was unavailable on Thursday. So far this season Hopkins has 10 receptions for 137 yards and three touchdowns as he is the unquestioned WR 1 on the Arizona offense. As long as Hopkins suits up he is a sure fire WR 1 in fantasy football, especially with the MVP type play of Kyler Murray and even more so with the great matchup vs Jacksonville in Week 3. If Hopkins was unable to play WR’s like Christian Kirk and rookie Rondale Moore would get big bumps.
