According to Colton Pouncy of The Athletic, Detroit Lions head coach Dan Campbell was short in his response to how WR Denzel Mims has performed this offseason, saying, “He’s in there, he’s in the room.”
Fantasy Impact: Mims was traded to the Lions about a month ago, but he has been out since early August with an injury. Campbell’s response to Mims’ performance wasn’t promising for a player who struggled to see consistent playing time with the New York Jets despite his second-round draft capital, seeing a decrease in snaps every year of his career. Mims looks to turn it around with new scenery for Year 4, but Campbell seemed uncertain about when he will return, saying, “We’ll see, we’ll see. I wish I could give you more.”
