Derrick Henry gained 38 yards on 10 carries and caught 1 of 2 targets for six yards in Sunday’s 34-14 loss to the Jaguars.
Fantasy Impact: Henry has had a pair of rough road games the last two weeks, gaining a mere 62 yards on 21 combined carries between matchups against the Buccaneers and Jaguars. The Titans are now 3-7, starting a rookie QB, and cutting into Henry’s touches with the snaps they allot for 22-year-old Tyjae Spears in the backfield. In other words, the Titans aren’t contending and Henry is an “old” back fast approaching his 30th birthday in January. Most of Henry’s fantasy managers will probably have to stick with him at this juncture of the season, but his best days appear well behind him.
