Devin Singletary was not active during the Bills’ preseason loss to Carolina.
Fantasy Impact: If there was any doubt that Singletary was going to be the starter for Buffalo to start the year it was remedied with the coaching staff not playing him Friday. Singletary was a top performer for fantasy managers down the stretch last season and had the Bills not used their second-round draft pick on RB James Cook, Singletary’s ADP could be a lot lower right now. However, Singletary excelled at the end of last season despite having very little use in the passing offense. As long as Singletary doesn’t get his goalline work siphoned by Zack Moss or Josh Allen, he has a chance to outperform his ADP and could emerge from the infamous RB dead zone as a legit fantasy starter. With James Cook clearly still being eased into the fold in Buffalo, Singletary could be a great buy-low sell-high option for fantasy managers this season.
