The Giants released RB Devonta Freeman from injured reserve.

Fantasy Impact: Freeman signed with the Giants following Saquon Barkley’s torn ACL. The 28-year-old wound up playing in just five games, averaging 3.2 yards per carry and scoring one touchdown. It might be tough for him to remain in the NFL next year.
