Chargers tight end Donald Parham Jr. (hamstring) is progressing in his recovery but will continue to be evaluated on a week-to-week basis, head coach Brandon Staley told ESPN’s Adam Schefter. The team hopes to phase Parham into on-field work next week.
Fantasy Impact: Parham has primarily been a backup through two years with Los Angeles, occupying a role behind Jared Cook. Through 14 games last season, he caught 20 passes for 190 yards and three touchdowns. Although he should see more usage in 2022, he remains second on the depth chart behind newcomer Gerald Everett. The 6-foot-8 Stetson product ranks 43rd among tight ends in the latest ECR.
