Elijah Mitchell rushed five times for 10 yards while failing to haul in his lone target in the 49ers’ 30-7 Week 1 win over the Pittsburgh Steelers Sunday.
Fantasy Impact: Mitchell was unable to find much running room despite finishing second on the team in carries, averaging a meager 2.0 yards per carry. The running back is clearly behind bell cow Christian McCaffrey in the San Francisco backfield, and is nothing more than an injury handcuff at this point in most formats.
