Green Bay Packers rookie CB Eric Stokes officially signed his contract with the team on Wednesday, per Packers’ GM Brian Gutekunst.
Fantasy Impact: The rookie cornerback out of the University of Georgia was selected as the 29th overall pick by the Green Bay Packers in the 2021 NFL Draft. Stokes measured impressive speed and agility at his Pro Day, logging a 4.31 40-yard dash and 4.36 shuttle while showcasing a 38.5 inch vertical. The Packers already boast a pair of young and talented cornerbacks in Jaire Alexander and Kevin King but Stokes could quickly earn a role as the nickel corner, replacing current Packers’ NB Chandon Sullivan.
