Evan Engram caught his only target for two yards in Jacksonville’s 16-15 loss to Pittsburgh on Saturday night.
Fantasy Impact: Engram figures to be Jacksonville’s starting tight end to begin the regular season as he headlined the team’s overhaul at the position. Engram is a veteran and was paid to come in and contribute from the start so fantasy managers shouldn’t worry about Saturday’s lack of targets. Engram caught 46 balls for 408 yards and three touchdowns as a Giant last season and, health willing should easily surpass those numbers in his first season in Jacksonville. Engram should offer an athletic security blanket to sophomore quarterback Trevor Lawrence as he gets comfortable in Doug Pederson’s new offense.
